Veggies for Vets Garden

Our Veggies for Vets Garden supplies homeless, at-risk and low-income Veterans with fresh home grown fruits and vegetables. The land is worked and  tended to by Veterans who want to give back to their brothers and sisters facing food scarcity. This garden allows Veterans in Fayetteville, North Carolina to supplement their diets with fresh vegetables and will help bridge the gap for those Veterans short on food with nutritious options.

Wheelchair Accessible Planters

Our vision for the Veggies for Vets garden was to create an inclusive space. We have introduced wheelchair-accessible planters to accommodate individuals with limited mobility who wish to volunteer in the garden. These planters not only promote inclusivity but also offer a therapeutic outlet for our local Wounded Warriors, allowing them to engage in the joys of gardening.
